The Country & State fields in Cool FormKit give you full flexibility with simple settings inside Elementor’s form widget. You can customize how countries and states are displayed and behave in just a few clicks. Here’s what you can do:

Default Country – Pre-select a country when the form loads.
Auto Detect Country – Automatically detect the user’s country based on their IP.
Preferred Countries – Highlight specific countries at the top of the list.
Only Countries – Limit the dropdown to show only selected countries.
Exclude Countries – Hide specific countries from the list.
Show/Hide Flags – Choose whether to display country flags in the dropdown.
Linked State Field – Automatically load relevant states based on the selected country by connecting the State field to the Country field.

FAQs

How can I show states based on the selected country?

Simply add a Country field and a State field, then link the State field to the Country field by entering the Country field’s ID. The states will update automatically when a country is selected.

Can I set a default country in the dropdown?

Yes! You can pre-select any country to appear as the default when the form loads. Just choose the desired country from the field settings.

Is it possible to highlight a few countries at the top of the list?

Absolutely. You can mark certain countries as “Preferred” and they will appear at the top of the dropdown for faster selection.
